Medical professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA’s ACLS training courses. AHA’s ACLS offerings highlight the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. They also cover airway management and related pharmacology.

The 2 day provider course is intended for anyone who has never had ACLS before. It is highly recommended to attend an EKG and Pharmacology course prior to your first ACLS. If you have been expired for a significant amount of time or are not comfortable with ACLS the 2 day provider might be right for you as you get more practice.

Students must come to class with a current ACLS provider manual. Consult your unit educator or leader to obtain a manual. Students must download, print and complete the pre-test and bring to class. A seven day notice is required for all drops/reschedules or the students department will be charged.
