Basic Cardiac Rhythms

This course is designed for nursing staff who will eventually take EKG Pharmocology and finally ACLS. This prepares you to successfully participate and pass ACLS skills and written tests. 

This course includes:

• Cardiac drips
• Nursing Considerations
• Infusion verify
• Documentation
• First dose assessment
• Heart failure
• Telemetry monitoring 

There will be an open note, open handout test at the end of the day which can take up to 45 minutes to complete. The 40 question test must be passed with missing no more than 8 questions.
