Notes:	Must have 2020 PALS book prior to and during class. Must complete PALS Pre-course work (involves videos & can take up to 3-4 hours) and pre-course self assessment (test) PRIOR to class. Must score at least 70% to enter class on pre-test. Bring test score and certificate from precourse work to class or take a picture with cell phone to show me in class.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children. The course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, BLS, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. It’s designed for healthcare professionals who direct or manage pediatric respiratory or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest: emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care personnel. The course is also for those who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.
