Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed specifically for workers with a resonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance workers, school personnel, hotel housekeepers, health and fitness club staff and tattoo artists. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired site-specific instruction. Upon completion of the online course, students receive a course completion certificate that can be presented to employers. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course .

Students will learn to: 

Protect themselves from blood or blood-containing materials

Act quickly and safely.

Clean the area that has blood or blood-containing materials.

Tell their supervisor about the incident.
